In Sound Media I, students analyze various music, and they produce sound objects and musical fragments using computers as their tools.In Sound Media II, students compose music using contemporary techniques with live electronics and learn composition techniques, including whole tone scales, modal scales, and atonal music. They also learn methods to organically integrate visual media and music.In Applicative Studies of Sound Medai I and II, students acquire knowledge necessary for various ganres of music such as electronic music, music concrete, sound scape,music for TV commercials, and sound effects. As an extension course, the llecture was open to public.

Students learn techniques necessary for recording. Placing high importance on artistic aspects, not only they learn learning technical know-how, but also they examine "what the musically and artistically prominent sound is" by actually experiencing various recordings.It's necessary for future recording engineers to have abilities to understand music, skills to produce music, and techniques to record music like German "Tonmeisters" do. In these courses, students are trained to become not only engineers but also artists who have variety of knowledge.
Students aquire knowledge necessary for sound engineering. The areas of sound engineering is going to become highly diversified, and engineers are going to be demanded to have wide range of knowledge not limitted to PA for live performances or concerts.Therefore, placing great importance on not only on techniques but also on sound design, these courses are designed to train specialists who are capa le of comprehensively coordinating sound engineering in various styles of concerts.In their senior year, students create an artistic space work with musical objects and sound using audio equipment as representation medium. The goal of this course is to train engineers who are artists with wide range of knowledge on music at the same time.
In Music Production Studies I and II, students learn forms and structures of music in various styles through music analysis. Based on that, they actually produce musical works in Practicum of Music Production I and II, and the produced works are actually performed by an symphony orchestra or other kinds of ensembles. Through these activities, the students cultivate their skills for music production and trained to become creators or composers.
